Woo Hoo! Summer holidays!
Today we have your usual lectionary-linked resources and liturgy, including hymn suggestions and a couple of linked activities suitable for youth groups, Messy Church, all-age events or Bible studies.
In addition, you have a video and script of a short talk on ‘I am the Gate’ (slightly longer than anticipated because one team tangled their yarn) accompanied by the amazing racing sheep! Instructions and script below.
Enjoy and, as ever, if you find these useful, why not spread the message and invite a friend or two to subscribe.
Blessings

Here’s a clip from our recent service on ‘I am the Gate’ from John 10. Please forgive the waffle, I had to cover time while one team got their cords tangled.

Confession and Absolution
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth,
for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Lord God, we confess that our minds are often set on earth, not on heaven,
In your mercy,
forgive us and help us.
When we live as if this earth were our eternal home,
forgive us and help us.
When we place our security in wealth and possessions,
forgive us and help us.
When we fail to love our neighbours as ourselves,
forgive us and help us.
May the God of all mercies forgive us and help us,
cleaning us of all sin and strengthening us to live anew.
O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
and his steadfast love endures forever.
Blessing and Dismissal
May the Lord, whose steadfast love endures forever,
clothe you with glory and your new life in Christ.
May he equip you with every good gift through his Spirit,
that you may live your life to his praise
and find treasure in heaven.
And may God’s rich blessing be upon you and those you love
today and always.
Amen.
Go now, full of the riches of the kingdom,
to spread God’s treasure to all you meet.
In the name of Christ,
Amen.
