God Give Me Patients!
A script based on Ephesians 4:1-16, and no, it’s not a spelling mistake. Great for a youth group, All-Age or intergen slot, Messy Church or Collective Worship. Click below to get a PDF of the script: God Give Me Patients or crammed on to one page to fit inside a Bible God Give Me Patients 1sheet
Here’s a video of the sketch being used at my church, appropriately, Christ the King.

Matthew 25:31-46, Ephesians 1:15-23
Confession and Absolution
When the Son of Man comes in his glory
he will separate people one from another
as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats saying,
I was hungry and you gave me no food,
I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink.
Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
I was a stranger and you did not welcome me,
naked and you did not give me clothing,
sick and in prison and you did not visit me.
Christ, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Truly I tell you,
what you did not so for one of the least of these,
you did not do for me.
Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
May the King of Glory have mercy upon us,
both now and in the day of his coming,
forgive us our sins
and fit us to inherit the kingdom
prepared for us from the foundation of the world.
Amen, Amen, Amen.
Blessing and Dismissal
May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him.
May the eyes of your heart be enlightened,
may you know the hope to which he has called you,
and the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints.
And the blessing …
Go out in immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe,
and breath God’s goodness to everyone you meet.
In the name of Christ,
Amen.
