Harvest – On a Roll!

Back to school, back in the saddle, back to front. No, skip that last one. Much as I hate to admit it, the summer hols are finally over and we are firmly into that season which launches us from Harvest to Remembrance to Advent to Christmas and spits us put the other side of Epiphany before we’ve drawn breath.

But first, an appeal. I love crafting with my daughters, but we had an ‘OOPS!’ moment at the weekend when my back-page interview in the Church Times was ripped up and used for papier mache. (oops!) If anyone out there has a copy of the Church Time from June 16 2023 (featuring yours truly on the back page) I would be internally grateful to swipe it from you. Comment below if you can help. TYVM xx

So join me at the start of the roller-coaster with this brand new resource for Harvest, linking social responsibility with Harvest and the story of Ruth, and a little mad-cap fun for good measure.

Plus, there’s a round-up of other Harvest resources from The Reflectionary and other places.

As always, I give this stuff away for free because I believe it is important. But I’m a free-lance writer and I still need to pay my bills, so if you’d care to join my merry band of supporters, I’d be most grateful. You can make regular or one-off donations via PayPal or BuyMeACoffee, or buy one of my books (I get the best royalties if you buy via Amazon).

Or you can support me totally for free by leaving a review (Pref on Amazon). They really are very very important! ty xx

Harvest – On a Roll

Click the link for a PDF containing an all-age story about Ruth with a fun way of doing a foodbank collection. It links harvest with our obligation to look after others because God has looked after us.

People will literally be ‘rolling in the aisles’! (Ha ha ha, did you see what I did there?)

It would work well for an all age service ( have a few older kids at the front to collect the cans and stack them), as well as at a school, youth group or Messy Church.

Tin Can Olympics – Page three of the PDF has a bunch of silly games to show that being and Christian and having fun are not opposites! There, that’s your Harvest event sorted.
