I went to the local park which has been partially flooded. It could have been quite depressing- but the daffodils had other ideas. Surviving the gales, the downpours and floods, their beautiful golden crown-and-trumpets resolutely proclaimed hope.
So a simple thought for today: every time you see daffodils, remember Paul’s instruction to the early Christians: and put it into practice!
Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times. (Romans 12:12)
Every daffodil represents HOPE on a stick. Rejoice in them and what they can represent!
