In Case You Missed It
Check out this hilarious drama about forgiveness and ‘Shove’ Tuesday (with all apologies to Sir David Attenborough)
Out now in Kindle for instant download, in paperback and from me (possibly even signed copies if you ask!) here’s a look at these hot-off-the-press books – Ain’t they fab?!
These Puzzle Pages are printable double-sided A4 PDFs full of Bible puzzles to help us think about the season. They are great for a take-home after All-Age worship or Messy Church. You can use them in schools, week-day clubs or at home. You are welcome to distribute them for free in paper or electronic form.
There are specials for Shrove Tuesday / Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday /Holy Week and Easter Day with puzzles for a range of ages, colouring, speech bubbles to fill in, and reflective items. The links marked ** go through the events of Holy Week over the five Sundays of Lent (‘cos Holy Week is too jam-packed to look at it real-time), and have a count-down calendar showing progress through the 40 days.
This is NOT ‘shut up and do some colouring’! Puzzle Pages are NOT for keeping the kids quiet while grown-ups do church. Teaching and worship do not have to mean sermons and hymns. Different people engage in different ways, and these activity sheets are designed to work lots of different parts of our brains, while giving us space to mull over the story so far. And who said they were only for kids?

I give this stuff away for free because I believe it is important, but I don’t get paid to do it, and the bills still need paying. So if you can, please consider supporting this work by either buying a book (or two, or three) or making a regular or one-off donation.
If you send Colin Firth round with diamonds and chocolate I’ll love you forever.
Alternatively money donations will buy commentaries and pay for web hosting. Click here to donate via Paypal. (PP charge a fee, so £24 a year is better than £2 a month)
But don’t worry if you can’t afford anything. You are very welcome to help yourself for free. Thank you.
