God Is With Us – Everywhere!
Hot off the press! A brand-new rhyming Nativity play suitable for Covid-safe performance, either in (distanced) person or on pre-recorded video.

It’s snappy and sassy – modern with a meaningful message. Mary and Joseph have mobile phones, and the wise men are confused about their gifts, while the shepherds think Gabriel is a Martian! But with the chortles comes the eternal message of God who lives right here.
The day after publication it hit #2 in Amazon’s bestseller list – woo hoo!
Available from Amazon for only £4.99 / $6.99
As they gazed in awe and wonder
at their baby, sleeping sound,
silently, beyond their vision,
all of heaven gathered round.
God no longer just in glory,
but right here where humans dwell.
God made flesh to be God With Us,
Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Remember you can use the website menus to find more Christmas resources, and I’ll post a load more next week.

All permissions for performing, recording and copying are included with purchase of script, and if you fancy sending me a copy of any video you make, I’d be delighted to post it on my blog. 🙂

I am ordering this script from Amazon – and add it to my bag of tricks.
When I get it, I will share it with you to look over. Haven’t really looked at the idea you sent me yet, and am still checking CE room to see if I can get the script I told you about. All in all, I think that we can work with any one of them – Esp. if we can take photos and add narration. A socially distanced play reading. Would be nice to have it done by beginning or middle of Nov. – then you can let Christmas catch up with you.

Could you please clarify what what you mean this being Covid safe? Has it been written specifically for the cast to be in bubbles or what? Thanks
Hi Kathy, you can perform in person with the cast separated and not moving around each other, or you can record the parts on video and edit them together to show online. There are lots of helpful ideas in the book for distanced in person or virtual performance. If you click on the link you can peek inside the book on Amazon 😊
Could you please let me know how long it goes, roughly, and the ideal audience age? Thanks!

Hi Jenny, the total speaking time is about 13-15 mins, depending on the speed of the speakers.
As for audience, everyone! Toddlers will like the animals, there is slapstick humour for the kids and teens, with jokes aimed at the adults too, plus a good message with plenty to take home and think about, both for kids and adults. 🙂
Thank you, it sounds just right. Are you selling digital copies?

Hi Jenny, it’s paper only at the moment, but I could make a digital version if there is demand. My thinking is that people will need to distribute copies for rehearsal, and you can’t do that with digital versions. Photocopying permission is included with purchase of the book. xxx
I’m also in Australia and would love access to a digital copy. This looks like it would be perfect for a Christmas Carols or Christmas Day service!

As requested, this is now available as an e-book. May take a day or so to link to the paperback, so please check back if you do not see it immediately. xx
Ah, perchance is the book not available in Australia? My apologies. I had not realised. I’ll work on getting an e-book ready. xx

Hello Fay. I daresay you’re inundated with videos but here’s Hampton in Arden’s version of “God is with Us – Everywhere” in case you’re interested:
Hope you think we’ve done your fabulous script justice.
We had great fun recording it and hope the village and others will enjoy our offering.
