Oh Yes! I promised and I have delivered! Hang on to your hamsters, ‘Flectioneers, and behold the awesomeness that is The Fab Easter Foldable! Cue trumpets, cheerleaders and confetti cannon. (Have I bigged that up too much do you think?)
Anywho, I think this is pretty neat and I spent AGES over the hols getting it just right. (Yes, I took my computer to France over the half-term break and sat in my hotel room fiddling with dotted lines and rotated lettering while the strains of Parisian night-life drifted through the windows along with the garlic and the soupe à l’oignon gratinée*. You’re welcome.)
* That’s the smell of onion soup, not actual soup, you understand.
There is a 2-page PDF with pictures to colour and cut out, and full instructions on what to stick to what and how to fold it all up. Click here to download. It features a brilliant transformation whereby the seeming disaster of Good Friday becomes the joy of Easer Sunday.
And if that were not enough, dear readers, I’ve even made a video showing you how to do the folding (see below). Plus your usual lectionary resources at the end, this week, based on the brill bits of Ephesians 2 and John 3.
If you haven’t already signed up, why not join my mailing list to get these nuggets of useful stuff in your mailbox twice a week – this stuff on Mondays and a post by the lovely Richard Starling on Fridays, and No Spam Ever!
If you find these resources useful, I’d really appreciate you bunging a few pennies my way. I do all this for free because I believe it’s important, but I have bills, same as everyone. But more than that, you have no idea how much it thrills my heart to know that what I’m spending A LOT of time and energy producing, is useful for the kingdom and helpful in your ministry. So even if you can’t afford to BuyMeACoffee or purchase one of my books, drop me a message or comment below and tell me how you’ve used Reflectionary resources. You’ll bring a smile to my face 🙂
I’m sorry that this vid appears rotated on YouTube. I filmed in landscape, honest!

Confession and Absolution
As for us, we were dead in our transgressions and sins, following the ways of this world and the spirit at work in those who are disobedient.
Lord, have mercy.
All of us lived like that, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts.
Christ, have mercy.
Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.
Lord, have mercy.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.
For it is by grace we have been saved, through faith—and this is not from ourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.
God, who is rich in mercy, forgive us all our sins,
make us alive in Christ and set us free to serve.
Amen.
Blessing and Dismissal
May you see the light that has come into the world,
may you gaze upon the Son lifted high
may you receive the free gift of eternal life,
and the blessing …
Go into the world that loves darkness
taking with you God’s light and life,
and God be with you as you go.
Amen.
