Having been joking about the rare long dry spell in Sussex, within a few hours it started raining! The joke was on me.
Much needed garden refreshment- AND as a bonus, the “Alchemilla Mollis” was turned into a piece of living art. Droplets and beads of sparkling water adorning every leaf, living water bringing life to the thirsty plants.
A lovely illustration of Scriptures that remind us of God’s faithful kindness and compassion:
Isaiah 44:3 – “For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children.”
Ezekiel 36:25-26 – “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.”
John 4:14 – Jesus said “Those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”
