Here is a story for wondering about Moses and God’s Glory passing by. It can be told with any loose-parts story-telling medium such as Godly Play, Out of the Box or whatever you have. Why not try Lego people?
Click here for a PDF of the script and actions. Moses and God’s Glory The pictures below (from the story-teller’s perspective) show it using Out of the Box felt shapes and Godly Play people. Please note, this is not an official Godly Play or OotB script.
I give this stuff away for free because I believe it is important. If you’d like to join my merry band of one-off or regular supporters, why not BuyMeACoffee?
You can find out more about Godly Play here, and Out of the Box here, and see videos of how to do the wondering questions afterwards. (I cannot include them in the script for copyright reasons.)

Confession and Absolution
Thus says the Lord of Glory:
I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious,
and will show mercy upon whom I will show mercy.
Lord of Glory,
have mercy upon us.
We confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word and deed.
Lord of Glory,
have mercy upon us.
We have not loved you with our who heart, nor our neighbours as ourselves.
Lord of Glory,
have mercy upon us.
May the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,
have mercy upon us, pardon and deliver us,
and strengthen us in all goodness to do his will.
Amen.
Blessing and Dismissal
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice.
Let the seas roar, and all that is within them.
Let the fields exult, and all that lives there.
Let the trees of the forest sing for joy.
Let us join with all creation
to rejoice before the LORD
For he comes.
And the blessing of God Almighty …
Go in the strength and joy of God
to live in peace and work his glory.
Amen.
