I’ll be taking a break for a couple of weeks, folks, cos I’m off on holliwags! Oh yes, the sunny climes of Conwy, North Wales await. We’ll climb the town walls, fish for crabs (much more fun than it sounds), visit nearby Llandudno*, patronise a LOT of tea shops and play board games in the evenings. Can. Not. Wait!

You will still have the tender ministrations of my most adorable co-writer on Fridays with Look, See, Pray, and I’ll see you in Sept. I’ll leave you liturgy resources based on Paul’s letter to Ephesus, and a view of Conwy from the town walls.

Confession and Absolution
“Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise.”
We confess, good Lord, that we have not been wise,
but have let our minds and wills be led astray.
Forgive us, we pray.
Forgive us, Good Lord
“Do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
We confess, good Lord, that we have not followed your will,
but have followed the fashions of the world and desires of our hearts.
Forgive us, we pray.
Forgive us, Good Lord
“Do not get drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit.”
We confess, good Lord, that we have not been filled with your Spirit,
but have allowed our lives to become breathless, empty shells.
Forgive us, we pray.
Forgive us, Good Lord
May God who is rich in mercy,
forgive and redeem us,
revive and restore us,
for the sake of his son, our saviour, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Blessing and Dismissal
May God grant us to be pleasing to him
and give us wise and discerning minds
May God grant us riches in the kingdom of heaven
and on earth, the honour of being known by his name.
And the blessing …
Let us give thanks to God the Father
at all times and for all things
in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Thanks be to God.
